Built on showing you the pipe

Rooter-X is a sewer and drain company with one operating principle: evidence beats promises, every time.

The founder

Meet Daniela Altamirano

Daniela started Rooter-X after 20+ years around a trade with a trust problem. Sewer work is invisible — buried, literal feet under the customer's lawn — and too much of the industry has treated that invisibility as a business model: vague diagnoses, drive-by quotes, repairs no one can verify.

Her answer is a company where the camera does the talking. Every quote starts with footage the customer watches live. Every price goes into writing before a shovel moves. And every finished job ends with the camera back in the line, showing the result — not because customers demand it, but because it should never have been optional in the first place.

Rooter-X is new, licensed, bonded, and insured — and deliberately without a wall of borrowed logos and stock testimonials. What we have is the license, a written guarantee, and her name on the door. The reviews will come from the work.

How we run a job

  1. You call, we answer

A person, not a phone tree. Tell us what's backing up and we tell you what happens next.

  2. Camera inspection on site

We put a camera in the line and you watch with us. The diagnosis is footage, not a story.

  3. Written scope, flat price

What we found, what we'll do, what it costs — signed before work starts. The number holds.

  4. We fix it — and re-inspect on camera

The camera goes back in and you see the finished line yourself. Standard on every job.

Plain answers

What we will and won't do

  • We will show you the inside of your line before quoting anything structural, and give you the footage either way.
  • We will put one flat number in writing and hold it — changes get discussed before they happen, not invoiced after.
  • We won't sell a replacement a repair can honestly handle, or a repair that just delays an inevitable replacement without saying so.
  • We won't take work we can't do properly — if a job needs equipment or scale we don't have, we say it in the first conversation.
